USF HEALTH, ALLSCRIPTS AND U.S.
REPRESENTATIVE KATHY CASTOR TO ANNOUNCE MAJOR FLORIDA HEALTH INITIATIVE
USF Health and Allscripts (NASDAQ: MDRX)
will hold a press conference to announce a health initiative impacting the
10-county Tampa Bay region. The initiative will make Florida a national leader
and model in providing safe, effective healthcare and will target DeSoto,
Hardee, Hernando, Highlands, Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk and
Sarasota counties.
Stephen Klasko, MD, MBA, CEO of USF
Health and Dean of the USF College of Medicine will be joined by U.S. Rep.
Kathy Castor (D-Tampa) and Glen Tullman, CEO of Allscripts. All will be
